Michael Bonifacio - Narrative Structure

Narrative Structure

The narrative structure within our film follows Todorov’s theory as our film starts with an equilibrium which is the part of the film where everything is fine; everybody is living a normal life, the weather is good and the people are calm and relaxed. Then there is a disruption which involves a main character being taken by a mysterious figure which then leaves the close relatives on a hunt to find their loved ones. Shortly after this the disruption is being sorted out meaning that this will be the part of the film where a few characters are having to solve the problem to restore peace and therefore would be making a new equilibrium which would be that everything is back to normal where the world is at peace.
